The Division offers our most sincere condolences on the loss of one of our oldest friends: Gene Robson. We also wish to acknowledge the events of December 5th at the Westroads Mall, and want to let the victims, their families, the family of the shooter, the police and other first responders know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
It's been a difficult week for Omaha and for the Division in particular, but it ended on a more positive note: we had our annual Holiday Dinner tonight. Good food, good conversation and good trains. During the business meeting (such as there was), Carol and Fred Martincik were given the Platinum Spike Award (also known as the Rusty Wylie Award) for their service to the Division. Congratulations to them!  Gene Shaw, Fred and Carol Martincik Our next meeting will be on January 12th at our usual place and time.
