"Confirmed our July layout tour in Norfolk, NE.
"Dennis Brandt's Denver & Rio Grande Western will be open after noon on Saturday, July 14th. This is an On3 railroad based on the DRGW's Third Division in the fall of 1944. His phone number is 402-992-2415 (cell) and e-mail is

"The map & directions we published in last June's convention timetable are correct. Third Street is one way, the wrong way, so use Fourth Street and come back south on Third.
"We probably want to figure about 2 hour drive time to Norfolk from any location we select for a rendezvous point.
"The Brandt's will have food for sandwiches available at their house so we won't need to worry about lunch. There will be a box or bowl for a donation for offsetting the food expenses.
"Some model railroaders from the Norfolk area will also be at the Brandt's. There is some interest in forming a division in that area and this provides an opportunity to talk about the NMRA and the benefits of being in a division with some interested people.
"You can contact Dennis directly with any questions. Let me know if I can clarify anything for you."

"Steve Dolezal was able to set up a layout tour this Saturday in lieu of a clinic since the Sump Library is not available to us at our regular time.
"Car pooling is recommended. We'll need to let Dennis Brandt how many are coming. This will NOT include an operating session.
"This could turn into a notable service project for WHD if we can help the Norfolk area guys & gals start an NMRA division of their own."
